Interfacial thermal conductance (ITC) affects heat transfer in many physical phenomena and is an important parameter for various technologies. The article considers the influence of mesoscopic effects on ITC, such as through gas gap, near-field radiative transfer, changes wetting behavior during melting. Various contributions to ITC liquid-solid interfaces processes fast pre-melting melting metal microparticles are studied. effective distance between materials contact a key determining ITC.
